Change is Possible
Couple Therapy Session

Welcome

Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being!  As an individual and marriage therapist, I feel it is imperative to understand the root of an issue and assist you in gaining not only understanding, but achieving resolution that will enable you to live a fuller and happier life.  Listening and supporting are vitally important, but that is not the only factor in helping you make permanent life changes;  it is only the begninning.  Symptoms such as depression, anxiety, relational challenges almost always sense when we understand how they came to be.  Understanding the issue(s) and providing restorative interventions are what will enable you to truly feel better.

I pride myself on continued advanced clinical training to ensure that I am able to help clients to the best of my ability, and to only treat clients whose needs fall within my areas of experience.  I have received specialized, advanced training, using EMDR for treating a wide variety of the most challenging of mental health issues, including traumas (from childhood or recent life events), panic disorders, anxiety and depression.   Marriage counseling is another area of expertise and passion of mine.  I absolutely believe in the institution of marriage, and am so excited to be able to assist couples in achieving the best out of their relationship.

As a Christian, I believe that God has a unique plan and purpose for each person's life.  It is my goal that you will not only reach the goals you set for yourself in therapy, but that you will feel safe, valued and cared for throughout the process.  If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
